Snake River Landing, Idaho Falls

Snake River Landing, a 400-acre master planned development, was built on the belief that a strong community is based on human connectivity. With this in mind, Snake River Landing was designed to encourage pedestrian movement between homes, places of business and community parks, with over five miles of beautifully landscaped biking and walking trails planned.  The unique pedestrian pier provides a gathering place for enjoying the Snake River, which is a central feature for the City of Idaho Falls.

Site Challenges/Design Opportunities

  • Stream Feature Flow Modeling - 4,000 foot long stream water feature and cascading water feature, stream flow and weir hydraulic calculations.
  • Water Feature Mechanical - Efficient design of a 4,000 GPM re-circulating stream feature pump station, a 2,400 GPM water feature pump station, & irrigation system pump station with site specific filtration system design and specification.
  • Irrigation System Design - Perfectly matched with our efficient, balanced pumping system, Hines provided design and specification of site irrigation & controls systems.
