Construction Administration

Construction Administration

Through the Consulting, Engineering, & Design process a system is visioned and created which will provide sustained, longterm water resource conservation practices and the accompanying cost savings in reduced water use & reduction of routine maintenance.  Through the Construction Administration Process, Hines Engineers work with the Contractor and Owner’s Representative to ensure Design Intent becomes a daily, operative reality.  This service is all about protecting the Owner’s wise investment in planning & designing a cost-effective, engineering system - let’s build it right the first time!

Conservation and Economics - the Long View

At Hines we value the finished product:  a mechanical system or complete irrigation system that is a cost effective, efficiently operated, and low maintenance product of clear and accurate construction documents.  In order to insure this result, a committment to Construction Services provided by Hines engineers and designers is necessary on every job.  We have a quality assurance process that provides the project Owner and other stakeholders the confidence that their investment will maintain its value long after the Contractor has completed his warranty period.

There are five (5) primary areas of focus during the construction phase of a project.

  • Equipment and material submittal review
  • Review and responding to Requests for Information or Clarification
  • On-Site construction verification, resolving site and installation issues, and reporting
  • Punch List development and verification
  • As-Built drawing preparation

Each of these areas of focus are critical for the successful completion of a project and its long-term operational integrity.
